I am going on a limb and saying no. I ran my SE-R with a Sparco Ultra Seat (drivers) and stock (pass) all the time.

If you don't have 2 seats in the front then you should be running in Open Comp class ![laugh laugh](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/default/laugh.gif) That is for people that don't whine about what anyone else is running. My car will be in that class ![laugh laugh](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/default/laugh.gif)

Just wanted to let y'all know (see, I have some Maryland in my blood) that I pimped AIS to the Villanova University Auto Club and they seem quite interested. They are students, so some might just come down to cheer rather than run (because it would interfere with the beer budget, or they don't have an American car of their own), but a few are going to run for sure.
Seems there are quite a few hi-po Ford guys there. The club has a 92 SHO 5spd, 94 T-Bird, V8 SHO, another SHO of unknown vintage, and my SVT. There is a Cobra on campus that is going to get heavy recruitment from the Ford sub-club and someone is talking about buying a SVT Focus. (Rich kids go to Villanova, obviously.)
Heck, there is a girl in the club that just ran a 8.991 in some ridiculous big block GM and I hear she runs Cecil on a regualr basis anyway.
Too bad the club's project car (73 350 smallblock Nova, get it? Villanova, Nova?) won't be done for the event.
