My roommate and I made our way out to "metro" tonite for the first time.
If anybody's interested, we're going to get out there again next Saturday, March 2. If anybody wants to join our two SVT strong group, feel free to drop a note and maybe suggest a place where we can meet. We'll be coming up from Alexandria. It'll be nice to meet some of you.

It's interesting to note that i've heard they camera's were installed down there. Might wanna rethink going.

I am willing to meet up with you guys, but I will be driving my Daytona, but let me know where is good to meet. I would drive the SE but the dog won't shift into 2nd gear, plus I want to run my Daytona against an SVT

Yeah, we're not really into messin' with John Law either, so it's good to note the cameras. We're both relatively new to this area, and we just got bored so we decided to check-out all this buzz about "metro". Though it was cold, there was a pretty good turn-out, with most cars being "works in progress". Could've sworn we saw a red SVT. Anyway, if there are any veteran metro-goers out there, maybe you could recommend a place where we could park, chill, and maybe watch some races (or race ourselves) without getting into trouble? As for Antonio, I'll keep your cookout in mind, and drop you a note with what I'll be bringing a few weeks beforehand. Right now, I can't tell you if I'll be in town. Originally posted by KJ:

I drove by last night after work to scout it out, I didn't see any Camera's, I drove down the drag, in the parking lots looking on light poles.. maybe I am blind...

Andy W., I'll bring down the cat, but you might have to help me take it apart from the rest of the midpipe.
I think we're still up for meeting at metro this weekend, despite the surveillance. Just name a place where we can meet-up either before or at metro.
