Well I finally got my oil pressure guage hooked up and now when I first start the car it idles at about 75psi and when I floor it (car still cold) it pegs the needle past 100psi. But when the car warms up it runs at about 35-40 at idle (sometimes it goes down to 25psi and WOT it reads about 55-60 psi. For people with the oil pressure guage hooked up, is this normal. I think the sending unit may be bad not sure though. Interesting to see how it changes all the time.

Yes, it is normal. My car has the exact same readings when cold and hot.

You guys with guages ever notice any flux in pressure in the long hard right turn offramps?

I get the same readings.

When I take long right handers and jug handles, I try and look at the gauge, and it doesn't seem to flux any.

My car does about the same...

Last weekend I went to Buttonwillow race way and just my luck they were running the track backwards (counter clockwise) so I didn't have many right hand turns. But on some of right hand turns, I did see the need drop to about 18 briefly and then go back up to 50-60

David, please correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you running the Mirko pan? If that's the case I'd have to guess that you'd be in dangerous territory with the stock pan.

Eric,

What gage did you go with? Where did you put in on the dash?

Nah. I have a stock pan, that mirko pan is too rich for my blood. I'm waiting for Sho Shop to relase their baffle kit. Its supposed to come out this month I think?
