A friend suggested I put racing wires/dis. cap on my car does anyone have any experience/suggestions with any?

Well , I'll start off by saying that a 'Tour doesn't have a distributor cap , so don't waste any time looking for one of those laugh .

I would go for the Ford Motorsport 9mm Wires but I don't know what your friend is talking about a Dist. Cap for our cars as they don't have them. There is a "coil pack" bolted to the RH which is where the spark plug wires plug in. The stock ignition is just fine unless you want to go really psycho on the car (my opinion). I would make sure that you order the wire seperators or dremel out the stock ones. laugh

hehe ... looks like Y2K beat me to the punch. I can't help it though my car is down and I am riding in with the "little lady." cool

You could go with an MSDS ignition but on our cars the factory system is just as good and it would be a waste of money to go aftermarket, unless you were very heavily modded.
