Well all... my car is at the dealership today. Nothing big... The trunk shocks are shot, so they are getting replaced, and there is a rattling noise when you close the front passenger door. I think I've heard of this being a problem with the Contours (I know Matt had/has the same problem). Reading some of the posts, seems like Pete is having the same issue. Anyone else? Is this a problem with the car that is possibly a recall? I'm just trying to get some info because I'm sure the dealership is going to give me a hassle on this one (it doesn't help that I have 35,925 miles on it )

Yea I had the rattle in my P. door too...I just took off the door panel and there was a clip that came out of it's holder and was banging against the window. FYI

Matt sent me the Plugs and Wires. I will be changing them out then hopping that the extended warranty or Ford fix my car. It's been two weeks now and nothing's been done. It's a good thing I love Nora so much or I would have gone crazy by now.

I had a rattle in my driver's door panel. Turned out to be the power window motor bolts weren't tight....
BTW, just took my car in for service last week. Got my ass kissed the whole time, and got great service. Ended up getting a good alignment (via shifting the subframe to get rid of the nasty camber/caster split it had) and getting a bad fuel pump replaced (was causing the car to cut out a high rpms when gas was low).

Well... after some arguing with Ford, I got my car back yesterday. They found that the power window motor was loose, so they tightened it, and the noise went away... The other day, the shop foreman was arguing with me saying there was nothing wrong. Guess who was wrong, and who was right?!?! They also replaced the struts for the trunk (which the shop foreman also said there was nothing wrong with, so I proved him wrong again) and the car is back in my loving hands. The good thing that came from all of this is that the Service Manager at Apple Ford (Dwayne) and I now know who each other are. If I come back for other repairs, I'm going to talk to him directly and I know things will get done. He's the one that confirmed everything I was saying about the car in the first place.

I hear Apple Ford is one to stay away from, and Bob Bell is one of the better ones in the state.....
I took mine to Frederick Motor Company. My past experience with them (with my old caR) has sucked ass, but this time: 1) I had a different service advisor 2) they're Blue Oval certified and are trying to keep it 3) I had my SVTOA sticker in plain view on the rear window
