I have seen recent posts regarding the current fad of "locking" the secondaries open. It seems that most agree that ideally the secondaries should remain closed off the line, but should open much earlier than the stock ECU calls for. My understanding is that the Superchip reprograms for a 3100 RPM opening. But many have stated that this may even be a bit "late". I am having a Superchip custom programmed and thus I can specify a particular RPM for the IMRC to open the secondary intake runners. I would like to get everyone's thoughts on this issue as to what RPM to specify. Please keep in mind that I do have a KKM, 75mm Pro-Flo MAF, SHO-Shop Y-Pipe, hi-flow cat, Bassani cat-back, and SHO-Shop pulleys. I will probably upgrade the throttle body if I can get some conclusive results on the Mustang TB changeover or if there is an aftermarket unit. Thanks for the input guys.
