I have a friend who has a 2000 Focus. I had to get something out of her car one night and when i shut the door noticed that the dome light dimms out instead of just shutting off after 12 seconds. I thought that it was cool. I was wondering if it would be possible to add that feature to my 96 Contour. Would it be a big job to add this feature, would it be expensive? Thanks for any help.

Depending on what is involved, I should be able to figure something out. Anybody have a Focus?

I thought about adding an RC circuit in line with the lights. You'd getting dimming when they turn off and they would also gradually come on. I just don't remember enough of my EE class to do it, heh..
