I was told that you fitted the older style Contour Consoles to the SVT or 98+. Just curious what is involved in doing this, and if you like it any better? Also how much did the parts cost and what did you use to paint it(if you had blue interior.

Well the console cost $70 dollars, then I paid $90 dollars. I have to bring it back due to them painting it a flat black. :rolleyes:

Yeah I saw Antonio's console this weeked. It looks good as sh1t.

But I am thinking about put in a console from a new Cougar in my SVT. My wife has a 2001 Cougar and after looking hers it looks totally doable. The only part that looks like it might be a problem is where the console meets the dash, other than that it looks like it will fit perfect.

Crap! With all that was going on I never looked at that console... probably a good thing or I'd be out right now looking for one to drop in.

Antonio, I'm serious about those rims and tires and the H&R's... I'll give you a fat $50 for the lot of them! You know you want it baby!
