There is a company that in NY that was wondering if there is market for a real carbon fiber hood for the contour. If there is enough people that want it they will put it into production. Cost will be around 400 bucks. Post replies or email me

So long as it does not involve hood pins and all edges are finished. I'm in.

Check out the Group Buy forum for an ongoing interest check in the hoods.

Personally I say don't do ram air, at least for the first time out making these hoods. Damn thing probably gonna cost hella lot. Not to many people will buy it.

I Do suggest keeping the factory look, raising the center hump up a bit from nose to cowl, with the rear having a 1-2" opening to let heat out of the engine bay. No hoodliner makes a difference, imagine additional area for heat to go out, lower operating temps, less heat-soak, cooler intake manifold and the super light weight of carbon fiber. Plus the cost wouldn't be like a ram air which everyone seems to be suggesting. I bet alot of you folks suggesting a ram air probably will choke one the cost is released.... wink

That sounds excellent. I have been hoping a company out there was making them. I definetly will get one if they are produced.
