I was thinking about putting a center exit exhaust on my 'tour. The exhaust would have two exit points on it. Do you think that this is something that would be pleasing to the eyes, or would I look like a porsche wannabe? All input appreciated. Thanks.

What type of tips are u looking at?

I think the porsche exhaust is more integrated into the look of the bumper. It may look out of place IMHO. If you can somehow make it look like it belongs there than maybe it would look good.

The Saleen Contour had dual center exits. Way too many bends to be "nice" to the exhaust gases IMHO.

Yeah, I think that the gas tank could pose a problem. I dont want to be the first one with a real flame job on my tour.

Fellas, the gas tank is directly below the rear seat, forward the rear axle. What would be in the way is the depth of the spare tire well/bottom of the trunk. I for one kinda dig the look of a car without seeing the tailpipes, ala 87-93 Mustang GT's, like my GT conv. Maybe one of these days I'll fill the holes in the back of my SVT rear bumper (both exhaust and center section) and have the tailpipe turned down out of the mufflers. Wouldnt that be trick?

As far as a single center exit, I for one dont think it will look good. Just IMO.

Gas tank is not a problem... It's just the exit that you would need to modify. I have dual pipes around the tank... All I'd have to do (If I wanted to) is to move my rear sections to the center...(Not that I want to...) It wouldn't be much work. And no blowing up anything..
