I'm considering getting a superchip for my contour, but I need to know some things. Where will it go in my engine? Will I have to program it, and if so how will I do it? How does it increase my performance? Thanks for your help.

well first things first.. it installs in the computer on the pasenger side.. very simple install.. second the superchip i have when i bought it they programmed it right in front of me. what it does...well it opens up your secondaries sooner and increases your rev limiter to 7500rpm..to me it was worth the money i noticed a big gain...before u get this chip make it the last mod u do becuase i had to tell the what i had done and they made the chip for what i done

I have yet to have a chance to feel the power as my battery/alternator was in the process of dying while I installed it.

Hey you guys, where do you send your chips to be custom burned? To a distributor, or to superchips themselves?

the place i bought mine did it right in front of me i guess it just depends on where u get it from
