I know Doug said he was interested in replacing his drive belt when we do the DMD's. Autozone has a replacement belt for $15.99 and I am headed down to the new Ford dealer by my work to check out their prices. Anyone else interested????????

OK, just got back from an interesting trip to the dealer down the street. That did not have the drive belts in stock, but I ordered one and it cost $26.00. They also wanted $21.00 A PIECE for the fog light bulbs!!! A little funny side note. I was over looking at the Mustangs and I saw this guy point at my car and say, "do you have any of those in stock". The sales guy looks at my car and says "Ford does not make the Taurus SHO anymore; we have some regular Tauruses over there if you would like to take a look."   I just minded my own business and slowly moved on. hehehehe

I would have made a polite tap on the shoulder, excused and introduced myself as the owner and politely corrected the salesman loud enough for the customer to hear how much of an idiot his salesman is.

I'll check to see if my Ford dealer has one on Monday (reschedule on the dash recall). If they don't - the replacement will have to do. I believe when I got the fog lights at Walmart, they were about $7 or $8 apiece. $21 - WTF?

I emailed Terry who works at Signature Mercury(Where Bill Jenkins used to work). He quoted me $17.61 and has one in stock. According to the parts web page page, these guys are going to continue to offer the same discounts that Bill gave us. Yippee!!! Sentry Auto Group https://www.sentrycars.com/Service/service.htm "Although Bill Jenkins has left, Joe and Terry continue to provide the same discounts and service at the Sentry South L-M dealership. Give them a call at 1-800-282-2290 or email them at parts@sentryautogroup.com".

I wonder if the rest of CEG would also like to know about the continued discounts with sentry...

It is listed in the parts page, but I don't know if there was a formal annoucement made about it. I picked up the part today. The list price was $28.02, and I paid $16.41!!! Now that's a discount. If any of you need anything. I can pick it up for a meet. Its only 6 miles from my APT.
