Well, you can't even tell that I scuffed the mirror. I used the zaino clay bar and then applied some Z1, Z6, and then Z5, and all there is is a small scratch. I'm going to Classic Chassis tonight to get an estimate on body work. Sorry I took a fit yesterday. I'm just hard on myself. If someone else had done it to my car I would have been cool and just got it fixed, but since I did it, I felt like pulling a Ray Combs! Its all good now. I'm still sorta grounded though, I just revamped the conditions. I can only drive her to meets and such. No more driving to work with her, or just to go out and show up some rice. Once again, I'm sorry. You will never see that side of me again!

You are forgiven Mike. I took my car to the carwash once last winter, and the f&*%ing thing scratched the paint on the hood and side. I felt like shooting myself - how could I be so stupid. In an effort to keep the biatch clean, I scratched the paint. Definitely a lose, lose situation.
Car goes in for 01B78 and a wheel balance next Monday. Let's see how the dealer can screw this up.

Car goes in for 01B78 and a wheel balance next Monday. Let's see how the dealer can screw this up. It is just so sad that we have to worry every time the car has to go to the dealer. Mike and Kim are the only folks I have met that own Ford/Mercury and have had little problems with a dealer (CLM). Doug having to worry about his dash recall and Elky having all that trouble with his suspension rattle.... the list goes on and on.   Oh, my heater blower motor resistor is starting to flake out on me again. And that problem started when the dealer performed the recall work on it. On a side note, I will have owned my car 4 years tomorrow and it has been 4 wonderful ownership years. I love driving her as much as I did when I drove off the lot on July 24, 1998.
