Well guys. Look at what I bought.
http://www.coastaltool.com/cgi-bin/SoftC...7424+1026847208
Now that Lisa will be working as a Nurse - every other weekend - I have decided, that instead of keeping myself busy with spending my money, I will ATTEMPT to spend my time, making money. But I didn't want to work at a place with a set schedule sort of speak.
As some of you already know, I love detailing cars. I love the fact that I get to see my results right away in detailing a car.
So I decided to start detailing cars on the side. Prices of different applications will come very soon. I will be doing this in my garage. I will also be able to do this on the road, at their house/garage (certain requirements there). This would be just a side thing as I continue down the career path of IT Engineering.

So - if you or anyone you know wants their car detailed, let me know. All the other cool stuff like cards and all will come later. I can give more information and visions that I have if you would like.....

And of course, CEG'ers get a good price! :-) smile

you haven't seen my paint have you? wink even by hand, a properly prepared surface - works wonders. A few weeks back, I did my car, and there were no visible swirl marks on the 5yr. old paint. not bad considering it's black too!

granted - most Swirl Mark Removers really only "hide" the swirls - as a buffer and some real good compounding is the only real way to rid yourself of those swirls. Hiding the swirls usually last a very long time as long as you don't go washing your car with a plastic bristled brush or something.... eek

The orbital polisher is a very safe and effective tool in detailing the paint on your car.

In that case swirls would come back only because you're creating them with the bristles! wink

Detailing sounds like a cool idea especially if you enjoy it ... just be sure that that $500 is well spent ... eek

i really do enjoy detailing cars. it's sort of relaxing for me to be quite honest. every time i do my car or one of lisa's parents cars, i really enjoy doing the job. Kinda weird i know, but something I do enjoy doing.

and 500 bucks? what's 500 bucks? certainly not the price I'll be charging!! lol!! laugh

Every time you click on the link it adds another buffer to your cart, thus increasing the price.
When i checked it there were 8 buffers for a total of $952!!

Sounds like a good plan Hugo.

Hugo

Check out www.concoursdetailing.com

It's owned by two good friends of mine(college students!) and it really is worth the effort. They do awesome work too, I help out sometimes. The pay is good and the satisfaction of seeing your work as a final product is absolutely rewarding...but you already know that from owning a black car cool

I have one of those handheld 9" random orbit polishers. I used to use it on my viehicles with some meguiars cleaner wax, it it does an excellent job. If you use the right kind of polish or wax and apply it correctly you won't get swirls.
