when i picked up my car at Bonnell today, sitting out front was a nice shiny silver SVT contour.

when i asked about it no one knew anything.
they finaly found the guy who bought it in.
it was bought by bonnel only hours ago from Wakefield Subaru.

it is a '99, one owner with only 38K on the odo.

it is a very sharp looking ride, very clean.

i asked what tehy wanteed for it and they said prolly around $12,500.
the guy said it would be ready for sale in a couple of hours, and said he would call me if i wanted it.

wish i could afford another.

but if anybody is interested call this guy and tell him that mike with the silver 98 gave you his name.
Mark Foresta (781) 729-9700 ex 521
he said he will be there all weekend.

another older guy that works there also has a silver Svt ithink it was a 98 or a 98.5 it only has 21K on the odo.

Baco, i am sure this should be in the classifieds, but i am not selling it just putting a heads up out there.

it should be noted that this SVT did have some scuffs underneath the front bumper (curb rash most likely) and some scratches on the hood.

had a couple tiny mods: aftermarket shift knob and K&N intake, nothing really eye popping.

Well,
I called Mark on Sunday and he said the car was back at the other dealership and wasn't sure what was going on with it. So he left me a message today saying that they didn't end up buying the car. Oh well, maybe next time.

Rob,
Thanks for the offer but we are replacing the wife's car that has 110k on it for a car with lower miles. If I remember correctly, yours it pretty close to that.

Thanks anyway! smile

Elky, what time were you there?

I drove right past Bonnell in Robin's Mustang around 5:00, and even said "Look out for SVT's!!"

Damn small world...

And, if only I had the $$ right now, I'd be grabbing an SVT of my own!!!!!
