I have to work on Saturday the 17th, I'd like to come on Sunday, but is a round trip from central MA worth it? confused

it depends on if you enjoy watching lots of drag races and walking around car shows checking out lots of great cars.
I think it's worth it.
it's a good time.

My main concern is I might have to bring the wee ones along. My son is 10 and into cars so he's cool, but the girlygirl is 5, and if its a long trip up , and a long trip back, and she's not entertained in between....it can make my life more
of a living heck than it is already!

Kim, I know how long it takes to get to Nashua or Manchester, how much further from either of them?

I think the 5 year old might drive you nuts after 10 minutes. You hear the roar of Mustangs zipping down the track all day. Last year it was pretty hot too. Bring the sunscreen!

She's suprising sometimes...a bit a tomboy..and IDOLIZES the boy, what he likes she likes...has her own collection of Matchbox/HotWheels/ NASCAR cars; they get more play than Barbie; asks for the car toy in the Happy Meal...I might take a chance.

Just made it back from Salem in under an hour, can't be too bad...

Like to meet all you nice folks, thanx for your input!

Still hoping to get to ffd.I just talked to Bill Jenkins and my svt body parts are on the way minus right svt skirt(on back order).I'm also getting new exhuast, the inside let go on one(i was cheap)I'm going with magnaflo stainless inside and out with borla tip's,shouls sound nice.I also picked up 4 15" focus wheels for $195 shipped in mint shape to mount my winter tires on,at around $49each couldn't pass it up.
can't wait to finish this project and see everyone.

I haven't seen anything that says you can prepay but I could be wrong.
Last year we paid at the door, and for those that wish to go both days, you pay at the door on the first day for both days (there's a slight discount in price if you pay for both days up front).

As far as what time to get to the gates, I believe Mike has a before the dragway meeting point in mind that he is going to post about soon.
He wants to meet up at a gas station down the road from the dragway that morning and then caravan in so we can reasonably park in the same spot in the show area.
I'll get him to post the details to this, and if the boards are down, we have all your email addresses.

Yes we still have room if you don't mind the floor. I think you and Jay were the first to claim the spare room (kinda like that last time you both were here). But there's also room for one more on the floor in there.
Ryan and Sue also expressed interest in staying overnight so they would most likely get the air mattress on the livingroom floor.
Elky somehow always ends up staying over too, so he may either get the couch or share the floor in the spare bedroom.
so that's a full house. and I'm not cooking breakfast Sunday morning! that's crazy talk!
