Took me an afternoon to do it last summer. Not technically difficult, just a major PITA.

The nuts get seized up so much with road muck that they are hard to release. I suggest saoking them in PB blaster or something stronger the night before.

The grommet that sits in the lower arm is a pita to get out and even more difficult to get in.

I had it done to my Silver CSVT last year at Bonnell. They charged me $105.

MarkO...do you remember the size of the nut inside the lower control arm? Is it 14mm like the one that connects to the sway bar? I need to get a deep socket to fit in there and would prefer not to have to buy a whole set just for one socket.

Rob, I believe it's a 15mm IIRC. Hope my memory is good. smile

all the suspension hex head bolts are 17 or 14 mm

Had the same prob with front end Sway Bar Links...
NAPA Auto had the parts for in between 15-18$ apeice. Nuts were seized so bad that i had a shop do it, they had to be cut off...took less than an hour.
