The official thread for it.
I took the advice from the other post and decided we should indeed stay at a place near some activity.
How about in the area of Hampton Beach in NH. I have never been, but I hear its a nice place with plenty of stuff to do.
I haven't picked any sites yet, but there are a few in the area. I if anyone has any information to add please do.
I'm figuring on doing this sometime in mid August on a weekend. Say head up there friday afternoon/evening, spend friday night there, then we can do what ever during saturday, stay for saturday night and then head home sunday.
whada think

as said before, I'm in (Mike too heh)
I'll do what I can to find out info about campgrounds in that area, as well as even make some fieldtrips to checkout the ones I hear good things about.

THIS SITE....... I can recommend Tuxbury Pond....Last year, at my site, I was able to fit two 10 person tents, a canopy over the picnic table and TWO cars in my site. Pretty good sized sites.... Later....

Well, Fun Ford Weekend is on August 17 & 18 at New England Dragway. I was thinking, cause FFW is a two day thing, that the people who want to go both days could 'camp' out at our house on Friday and Saturday night. I still have to ask the landlord, but I doubt there'll be a problem. We are about 20-30 mins from the dragway. So if we want to have the camping trip on that weekend and during the day we could go to the dragway, we could do that, or we could do the camping trip separate. I'd suggest the weekends of August 2 & 3, or August 30 & 31.

This sounds like it would be fun. Now I have Fri. and Sat. off so I'd probably be able to make it. We've been saying for years that we should go camping. Maybe it's time!
