(rant on) Spent a couple hours Saturday morning on the SVT washing and waxing her. She looked beautiful for about 1/2 hour. Later that day, my green car was green and yellow. I hate this time of year with all the pollen in the air. It's getting warm now and you have to keep the windows closed during the day. Yuck! (rant off)

i am right there with ya!!
at least you can always expect rain within 2 days of washing the car, to help wash the pollen off!!

same here.
spent a decent amount of time washing and doing the zaino.
even had the C2 in the garage while doing the zaino work.
still didn't help avoid the pollen.

there was so much pollen built up on the grand marquis, that when we drove away to go have dinner, it all blew toward the windshield off the hood like a loose layer of snow! blech!

Pollen sux!! Washed the car yesterday, within an hour or two, it was green. Ugh... there's a section of road not far from where I live, and, if the sun is in just the right place, you can see an opaque green cloud floating overhead. GAH!!!

Yup. me too.

I've got a huge pine tree in the back yard that likes to spew it's yellow-ass pollen all over my car. Almost no point in trying to keep the damn thing clean.

Washed her up nicely Friday evening and then I come out on Saturday and it has pollen all over it. Granted the car still looks good, but WTF!!!!!!! eek

I love leaving in the morning and having to put the windshield wipers on so you can see just because of the pollen build-up.

My car doesn't turn green, it turns yellow under the pollen (temporary rice!)

Worst part is I can't even drive with the windows open anymore b/c I start coughing!! And I hate using the vent system since it decreases engine power, so I just drive and watch the thermometer go from 70 to 90 to 110 ... laugh

(yes, I stuck a tiny thermometer above the cupholders.)

it's kinda gross when you think about it.

i mean, pollen is really tree "sperm", isn't it?

kind of like an asia carrera movie mixed with a little discovery channel.
