When I get some nice wheels I'd like to paint my calipers. What kind of paint would I use? Could I also use the same paint to paint the cast iron top of my engine? I'm new to this customizing thing. If you have any suggestions on things to do to my 'tour just e-mail me your suggestions.

Thanks, Resol

Go to Pep Boys and buy PlastiKote's brake caliper paint! I handbrushed it and it works great! Has blue, yellow, red, black. See my sig for pics of the results.

I have a T-Red SVT and I had a paint shop make up a can of High Temp T-red Paint. I primed the calipers after cleaning them thoroughly with high temp casting paint. 2 Coats of T-red, Three coats of High Temp CLear Coat. They match perfectly, and they look very conservative but bold.

Pep Boys stopped carrying that paint cause it didn't work as claimed.. That's what I was told.. I painted all of mine , and a friend painted his with Krylon High heat aluminum paint.. Two coats of primer, three coats of color, and two coats of clear... Look awesome and haven't shown any signs of letting down yet.

I used this stuff also, about 2 years ago. Blue paint still there except where a little brake fluid leaked while bleeding them. I have a T-Red with Ford Blue brakes.
