There's nothing like having a stream of boiling hot water spraying out onto your floor, ruining your things. Definitely an interesting experience. The water heater just exploded and didn't stop for about 3 minutes! I think I might go swimming now! mad eek  frown mad eek

water heater in the house?

Better call the plumber. Maybe a girl plumber will show up and you can ask her to clean the pipes while she's at it.

That sucks.

Yeah, it's in my closet. There I was putting clothes in my dresser when I heard a loud pop and water began spraying toward me. We called the landlord and someone can't come until tomorrow morning. The maintenance person is a girl, not bad looking at all. wink

just tell her that the water heater blew up and you think that your pipes might need to be cleaned as well.

Why is the water heater in your closet? Ours is with all the other water stuff (softener, well pump, etc.) in the workshop downstairs. Oh wait, just reread your post (you rent) ... ok! My bad shocked

There was one week when our water softener broke, therefore (somehow) breaking the water heater, and the washing machine went as well ... all in the same week! eek

At least the water was warm... wink
