Alright, I have been trying to find an address for the rest stop just west of Springfield for us all to meet at. Here is what I have been able to find: Exxon/McDonalds at the Blandford, Westbound Masspike rest area is 413-848-2715. I called the service station and they do not have a physical street address other than they are located at mile marker 29. He also said that Rt 23 and Chester Rd are two roads within close proximity to the rest area.

Here is the map with location of rest area:

I also did a mapquest to a ficticous address and got an approximated time of 1 hr 26 minutes from my house to the rest area, which would tenatively put CobraR's car and mine in that area at @1:00 - 1:30. I think we will be on the eariler side.

So, as it stands we will have 5 cars meeting at this location (unless anyone has other suggestions).

From Worcester, MA:
Car 1 (Silver SVT): Mike (CobraR), Kim, Ben
Car 2 (Red SVT): Ryan, Sue, mobile #(508) 572-7378

From Boston, MA:
Car 3 (Lt. Blue Contour): Brian, Dan
Car 4 (Silver SVT): Mike (Elky)

From Windsor, CT:
Car 5 (Green SVT): Jay

From Dartmouth, MA:
Car 6 (Black SVT): .....Oh wait, I forgot!! wink j/k

Please make suggestions, these plans are not set in stone!

I'm assuming we are looking at the mass pike in the highlited area.

so if there is not a physical street address then can we get a location in reference to other markings, such as "between exit #-- and exit #--" This way when I am on my way I can see the exit # and know the sets stop is comming up so I can get to the right lane and slow down  so I don't miss it.

I suppose this is where we will all gas up so that when one of us needs gas we'll all need gas.

Yes, the yellow highlighted road is the Masspike.

According to the Masspike info page ( www.masspike.com ) and my Massachusetts map it is in between Exits 3 (Westfield, 40.4 miles from NY) and 2 (Lee, 10.6 miles from NY)(number decreases ending at NY.

posse #2 will be there just before 1. no problems. shoudl take us about 2 hours from my house.

Wednesday night will involve frantically cleaning the poor beast before the trip. Hey Elky, how 'bout a mini-meet on Wed night?

Baco, i would love a mini meet but i don't think it is gonna happen. i have to work a full 10 hour day on wed. so i will be sleeping from the time i get home until it is time to head to your place.

do you really think it will take two hours to get to the meeting place?

i am gonna need directions to your place, unless you want to meet up somewhere out near the pike?

I'm not going to bother cleaning my car before heading to michigan since it will likely get pretty dirty along the way. road grime, brake dust and bugs

I'll just have to find someone willing to share their supplies or just go buy my own and use a local do it yourself car wash facility.
