What's up guys/girls?

I'm a Cougar member over at NECO and just recently I got us a group dyno discount for May 11th (sat). We need a few more spots and I wanted to know if you guys were interested. Here's the e-mail from the dyno shop:

"Hi Ivo!

Thanks for the interest.
If you can put together a group of 10 or more we would offer everyone in your
group 3 - 6 runs on the dyno, a free barbecue consisting of burgers, hot
dogs, chips and drinks, and we will throw in some raffle prizes also. The
cost would be $65.00 per person. Saturdays work great for this type of event.

it's kinda last minute.
how long have you had this planned over at NECO before bringing it to CEG?
besides, a good number of people are planning for a trip to Michigan next week, and need funds for that.
on top of all that, past experience between NECO Northeast and NE-CEG mixed meets have never really had good turnout.
I was actually surprised to see you extend the offer here at all, as NECO Northeast never has seemed to entertain the idea of mixed meets with NE-CEGers (except for a very small handful of NECO members)
not trying to open a whole can of worms, but this is just my impression of things.
no grudges, no animosity, just stating an observation.

why is it like that though?

anyway, like kim said, it is short notice and they are planning on going to the spring zing...

on a different note, i talked to Dean and he is willing to setup another DynoDay for CEG. Same offer as Furious. But this will probably be in late June, early July.

i'll keep you guys updated.

Mike's also been talking about a Dyno day up at Martel Racing in NH for a couple months.
his job hunting stuff has caused him to put looking into prices by the wayside for a bit, but now that things are looking a bit more positive for him these days, I think he should have more time to check into that as well.

Well, this isn't really a NECO/CEG meet. Just an oppurtunity to get your car on a dyno for a great price, food included. I've had the offer up at NECO for about 4-5 days with this date. Originally, I set it for the 18th to give everyone time, but that day was filled and the earliest after that would have been mid June. I realize the 11th is kinda short notice, but we're talkin about 65 bucks and a couple hours on a mid sat. Kinda like going out for lunch while your car is being dyno tested . I just thought it would be cool to have you guys there as well since we share the same platform/engine.

Oh well, looks like I'm gonna have to grab some local rice boys to fill the slots. So far we have 5 NECO members.

Hope you guys get there in the future and put up some good numbers.
