Just installed an SVT Exhaust on my car Y-Pipe back and have the old exhaust (Y-pipe back)available if anyone needs it. It has ~60k on it but still seemed fine. I'll hold it for a week or 2 then I'll trash it. So if anyone is in need of one; just pick it up. BTW, the exhaust I used supposedly came from a '99 SVT and the yard removed the rt rear muffler hanger from the car and left it aatached to the exhaust for my use. So if you're considering a mod to an SVT exhaust on your reg Contour, you don't need to make or order the modified hanger; just order the 99 or 00 SVT hanger from Ford and it should work.

How much did the SVT exhaust cost you?

I don't know if the Ztec is the same or not. I guess the easiest way to check if they're the same is measure the flange hole and the distance of the bolt holes and then the location on the car; how far aft and where laterally. I bought the exhaust at Greenleaf for $100. See an earlier post. I'd add the link, but not sure how except for the text below.

FYI The distance from the aft side of the exhaust flange (aft of the Cat) is 56" from the fwd side of the lateral front frame. The centerline of the exhaust at the same flange is 26.5" from the very bottom of the right rocker panel. The bolt hole dia of the flange is 5-1/8" and a 2"ID for the exhaust pipe. I would assume if the Zetec has the same location, that the routing should be similar as well. Baco99, I hope this helps you out.
Looks like the link worked!
Good luck guys

Hey Ric,
Did you pull out the resonator or not ??
Resonator is the smallest diameter part of the SVT Exhaust. My SVT Exhaust had the Resonator replaced with a straight pipe.
