Well it's come down to the Dreaded "Were not seeing enough interest"
What I would do is call Injen Technology and ask them. Tell them you saw a Cold Air Intake on a SVT. And you want to purchase or learn more about it. They wont continue until they feel there is more of a following. I know because im the one they tested on. I have it installed. pretty similar to South County Autosports, but i like Injen more. Just a FYI I did switch the filter to the Weapon R. I prefer the foam filter vs. the paper.

JB SVT,

If the contour Intake does not work out. I have installed the Cougar version of there intake system. It seems to fit just fine, other than it is slightly mis aligned with the fender well hole. I am in the midst of fittin an S&B filter like the KKM with it. And trying to hook it into the fender well. I really like the way it looks. NOt to many ppl have it and it looks sweet.

Let me know and I might be able to get the part number for you. That is if your interested.

Peace

The first I ever heard about an Injen intake was at the NOPI Nationals last year. I talked with one of the guys at the Injen booth. He said that they would be making one. So maybe I'll call and ask them why it hasn't came out.

jcboeckl, thanks for your help but I think I might just go with the KKM if the Injen intake doesn't come out. I think the guy from Injen that I talked with said the one for the Cougar was a little too small or something to get the most out of it. Best of luck fitting the S&B filter to the fender well.

I think the Injen intake looks alot better than the KKM. Just my opinion.

I agree....it also sounds alot better IMO. I actually decided to get a Monster Flow and put it on there instead of the S&B. Hopefully it will help the performance even more.

Peace

The injen intake that Speed Demons has is a cold air intake not like KKM or Mirko. It does not line up with the fender well air hole. It is a chrome pipe that curves downward towards the bottom of the car to pick up cold air. And it looks way better than the kkm or Mirko Intakes.

Correct me if I am wrong Speed but this is how I remembered it.

Also, how much are they selling it for and did you ever get it dynoed?

I'm not sure about that one...could be.

But I bought the one for the cougar. And it fits perfect, and if anything it should be larger since the cougar's a 3liter. Also mine is not a CAI. Its simular to the KKM but with an extra unit, looks just like the BAT intake they sell(you know the blue one). I really like mine...Not sure if the CAI would be a very good idea for everyday driving. Since water could be an issue, IMO.

Peace

1 The cougar is not a 3 liter
2 the contour and cougar engine bays are the same
3 the injen intake is similar to the weapon r for the 2.5
4 for a true cold air induction kit Click Here

email me if you want pics of the intake installed with the svt tb and pro flow maf
