OP Y2KBlack&BlueSVT Member Y Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 174 chicopee MA	i live in chicopee, ma and was wondering which dealer(s) near me i should either take my car to or avoid? i have to bring it in for a few warranty claims before it runs out. nothing major, just little crap. any advice would be appreciated. THIS CAR IS F***ING COOL! bone stock for now...

98 SE Member 9 Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 1,196 central MA	If only you didn't own an SVT... Millbury Ford (Rt. 20, Auburn MA) does the job quickly and thoroughly... and correctly. We take our cars there ALL THE TIME (My dad's currently got a loaner F-150 since his Windstar's front spring broke ) and haven't had any troubles with the service at the dealership. The cars, however... The only problem is that they're not an SVT dealership, I think. Matthew 98.5 Contour SE V6 It has spent 1.5 years under the wrong identity ;-)

I have a 13 page fax I sent to Ford about Milbury Ford! Things like the head of service saying "that the car(SVT Contour)good for a TAURUS" (secondary controller stopped functioning) "whats an S V T?" and the "CD played works fine, we took it over every bumpy road we could find" AFTER EXPRESSING that the cd skip was NOT A REASON THE CD PLAYER SKIPPED, and of course there was a big dent in the rim!! This is the second time a front suspension spring broke (the left one went last summer; the right one went last Friday). Recalled item. What sucks is that Ford only replaces them with the same type - recalled - Ford springs. But still, they're the dealer we've had the best luck with dealing. We're rather unsatisfied with the cars, however. Love driving my Tour, hate spending $ for repairs though! What are you talking about "warranty paint." Please e-mail me info... my paint is wearing away behind the doors, not sure do I qualify for something? Corey, thanks for clarifying I thought it had to be SVT-authorized; proved me wrong!
