Hey Guys,
I figured I'd start here because New Englanders rule and you guys are always helpful. My SVT has 32K on it and has been back to the shop countless number of times for, the cats, CEL, dashboard, MAF etc, etc, Is it to late for me to get the ESP, and if not how do I go about getting it, and how much?? I tried search and came up with nothing.
As always your help is appreciated.

You can purchase the ESP as long as the car is still covered under the 3 yr /36 k miles warranty. They have different plans based on the amount of coverage you want and length. I think the better plans run in excess of $1,000. Anyone else got more info? Doesn't Ford have a website for this?

www.fordesp.com is very cheap compared to any dealer i've seen around here. also - this ESP warranty is just like buying a car....The price CAN BE negotiated!! If they ask for 1000, bring the price down a tad... good luck...I wish I had warranty on my SVT...just for peace of mind instead of relying on my friend at Ford...

yes There are several plans offered under the ESP. They come in a range of prices for the different items you want to have covered.
Ford is not the only source of a ESP, there are several independent companies that offer similar coverage.
I do know that for the plans offered by ford, you will have to pay an extra fee becasue your car is over the cut off age/mileage. Not sure how much it is though.

got mine for $1,195 (the dealer made 100 bucks off of me). it's a 6 year, 100k warranty, $50 deductible, the Premium package (which really only has a tiny bit extra over the package below it - mostly stereo coverage and something else that I can't recall). I got it through Best Ford in Nashua, NH (Mike's dad is a finance manager there, so no b/s).
by the way, the 6 years starts from the date of purchase, it's not an additional 6 years on top of your existing 3 year warranty (some people don't know so I thought I'd note that).
oh and there is a surcharge if you purchase it after 12k miles/12 months of ownership which is $100.
so I'd say if you tried to get a premium package and asked for $1,300, that's pretty reasonable.
