it looks like tomorrow is the day. i made the decision, and i stuck with it. i am definetly moving to nantucket and i will be trading in the svt tomorrow morning. confused yeah, i know...how in the f#@^$# world could i do this? well, it had to be done. i will still be reading up on stuff on the site and hopefully be able to make it to some of the meets. it was a real good time while it lasted. i think a huge part of the whole svt experience was all of you guys and girls. our shows and meets were some real good times. thanks.

the mats are still in the car, but if anyone wants to give me a couple of bucks i'll take them out. i have no problem with that. also, if there is anything else that anyone needs and can do it quick feel free. wink

for anyone that is interested i traded it in at Victory Ford in Stoughton, MA. my sales rep was Gus, 781.344.3500. i had a few bites on the car before i traded it in, but my best one was from north florida and i just didn't have the time. i really wish that i had it, but i don't. some facts on what i bought...a '99 jeep chrokee classic. it has the I6 with the 4.0L. it gets out of it's own way. full time all wheel drive option, power driver seat, power everything actually, heated rear view mirrors, five spoke rims, fogs, just about everything. EXCEPT for a cd player, which i will be installing, or cruise control. other than that, it's red with 28k miles on it. not a bad little jeep. drives very nice. (much better than the '99 explorer sport that my brother and i test drove. the excelorator got stuck down and we almost hit some stuff, you know, people, cars, buildings. that's a whole other story mad ) so i guess that's it for now. the jeep was 14.9 and they gave me 9.0 for my car. rather low for a ford dealer, but the best i got from anyone was 10 and that was on an $18k explorer sport, no thanks. so i don't think that i got raked over the coals, but i guess that i could have done a bit better if i had sold it outright to someone. just not enough time. oh well...

so all...that's the story on the svt. whata fun car and and what great memories that were a result of it. thanks guys and girls. smile

Did you get raped on the trade in? What did they give you? Sorry to hear that you must get rid of the tour. Good luck with the move and your new place!!!

I don't think you need cruise control on Nantucket. Good Luck. Maybe we can put a few SVT's on the Ferry and come visit.
