Which sensor is it that must be relocated or drilled out in the BAT pipe? And is that pretty much how it comes from them, I mean did you add anything other than what it includes. I realize it is just the part from the MAF to the throttle body.

Is this merely aesthetic or does it provide some benefit possibly from smoother airflow?

Looks good, have the monster flow on my car too. You should make a heat shied to cut out engine heat, and increase performance. But just my 2 cents

1) Eric: it is the air intake temp sensor. note the wires running to the air filter. And notice the plug in the right front tube on the BAT pipe. I drilled out the moulding on the filter and mounted the AIT there.
2) Dan: It should provide a little cleaner air flow and a small boost, but no dyno #s, so that's just a guess ( rationalizing all the $$$ ?). Does feel stronger at the top compared to the Injen I took off. The Injen set up is longer by almost 2". As you can see, that made a tight fit around the fender wall air inlet.
3) Chow: thanks ...I am working on a plexiglass box and aluminum air dam scoop, but haven't figured out how to prevent water from coming in too. Streets flood around here in the winter with any heavy rain.

Hey guys...
Regarding the Monster Flow filter....
I sent an email to the company but to no evail.... When I got the filter from SCA with my CAI pipe there were no instructions for cleaning the filter. I know with the KKM there is a process of oiling it after cleaning. What has to be done to the monster flow? Can you just clean it with water and re-install when it is dry? It has been on for a year and I am sure it could use a cleaning...
Thanks in advance for any help.....
