I wanted to give u all an update from this weekends' shows in Rhode Island.
Bad news first.
I did attend the Show at Tasca Ford down the street from my house but unfortunatly I got beat by 2 classic cougars and they were only giving out 1st and 2nd place trophies. Even my contact at the dealer was disapointed.
Now for the good news.
Another member from the Focus group hooked me up on a car show on Sunday in Cranston.
Since i got my project at work out of the way late last night and early this morning I decided to go and show the Cougar again. Good thing i did as I managed to bring home my very first trophy and to top it off it was First place in it's class. I was put into a combined class of Ford & Mercury. There were 3 cars, my buddies ZX2, a really moddied Mercury Tracer wagon (had lots of toys in it) and my cougar. The ZX2 took 3rd, the wagon took 2nd and was very unhappy to losing, and I took 1st.
I hope you guys had fun in NH this weekend. I wish I could have joined ya as i'm sure it was awesome.
