I just heard from someone that the window tinting law changed and tinting is now allowed in th efront windows. Anyone hear ? I cant stand just havibg the back windows tinted so i didnt tint at all....

Yes it has  I saw the letter first hand from my friend who is licensed to inspect vehicles.I just called him now to get a copy of it.When I read it for the first time.It stated that it was now legal for police departments to tint there cruisers with permission from there chief.Then it said that it was legal on any car.But you must get a note from a eye doctor saying that your eyes are sensitive to light.When I get the copy i will type it up word for word. :p

far as i know the law still stands. djpedro can vouch for that one. :p tint along with hid's and a missing front plate doesn't make for a happy po-po. when i tint my windows im gonna do 35% all the way around. it's all or nothin for me.

I think as long as you don't drive like an @sshole you should be fine. I believe this is true because when I left my car for service at a Ford dealer, the service manager tried to bust my balls because his guy got pulled over for the tints while on a test drive. Hmmmm, maybe if he wasn't driving like an @sshole he wouldn't of got pulled over!!! I have had mine tinted for almost a year and have yet to get a ticket (knock one wood). But, that's only my opinion.

also depends on where ya live and what the cops are like. the cops around here are just droolin to get ya for anything they can. thats what worries me a bit. a friend just gave me a FOP 2002 card so i think im safe if i get pulled over with it.

FOP cards aren't worth the dinkleberries in the State Troopers' a$$.
What you need is a TIN.
Get one of those and your chances are much better.

SVTouring.....maybe in your case it was cause of an a$$hole.....but everytime that i got yanked i was driving like a grandma....beleive i spot them out a mile away everytime... around here , like Dan said they look for you....they walk around my car and list the illegal things....i have not yet once gotten pulled over and a cop say uhhh....you were swerving,speeding...blah blah blah.......it's always....you know this tint is illegal in NJ, where is your license plate, what is up with your headlights.....i had one cop say to me...take out those lights...next time i see you if they are in i will summons you and Pedro that goes for those mufflers too....ugh cops....grrrrrrrr....thank you for vent time
