Try launching at about 5000rpm and slip the clutch.. Painful, but about the only way to get a decent run, you can drop about a second.. Shift at about 6400rpm, and you should be good.
Do you have your timeslip handy?

how many runs did you get?? were they all 15.9 if you had more than one??

5000 rpm??? sounds like a recipe for broken motor mounts.
ahh well, now I can see why I don't drag race the car. AutoX on the other hand, that's a blast.

i may be going to English town to run in about 2 weeks... I had to wait for the dealer to replace my cat and fron wheel bearings, and egr valve (hehe - gotta cram everything in waranty running out soon..)
