Hey whats up!! How are all of you doing???? I have seen alot more svt's around since i sold my car last december. My friend at Rutgers wants to buy a Contour SVT. The only catch is that he wants it from a dealer. Do you guys know of any dealers in the tri state area that has any svt's. He is looking for a 98 and color doesnt matter.

There was a 99 T-Red at my dealer. All-American Ford, in Hackensack, NJ. But, this was awhile ago, I can take a ride by there and find out thogh.

Anyway, finding cars at dealers, atleast locally, is going to be rough. I got lucky with mine, and still had to drive an hour to get it. The one I linked to is in Mechanicville NY, 4 hours away I believe. I'm guessing he wants it from a dealer for financing? If not, I would seriously contact Pascal, he has one of the sweetest cars on this site and it's for sale. Oh yeah, try an autotrader.com search, it's how I found my car

i haven't seen your car around last couple of weeks on manor road??? i bought the honda for reliability. My svt went through engine failure, 3rd gear synchro, water pump failure...etc...all out of warranty. i saw the pics from sz02.....your car looks good!!

Mine always looked better and yeah WTF you buy a hondha and never come back :rolleyes:

There were pics from SZ? Hmm....people must have been kind and kept the smashed in door out of the picture! Yeah my car got smashed up the day before SZ by some stupid......there now my eye is twitching again! Bodywork is questionable too. I think im going to wind up replacing the door. First I want to lower it, pick up FSVT rims/Brakes....I might be able to pick up some HID's for $200, if so then I'll get PIAA yellow fogs. Things are coming together nicely everything considered.

The past..2-3 weeks my car as been back and forth to ford. First for a dead fuel pump, while it was there i asked them to fix a 4th gear grind (syncro obviously), and they just can't locate the parts. So, they tell me I will have it back by this friday. They will also be replacing the clutch. I just can't justify an LSD at this point in time, much to the dismay of other CEG'ers I'm sure :p . I can't wait to get it back though....You should come out to LI or something, would be nice to see you man
