OK, since the weekly meet turnout has been pretty thin lately, Mike and I would like your opinions on changing it to monthy meets.

We also hope to attract some new members as Contours age and they begin to trade hands.

Here are the options:

1) Keep the meet weekly at 5pm?

2) Monthly at 5pm?

3) Once every two weeks?

4) I don't care, i'll come out either way!

5) I don't come to meets anyway, so what do I care?

Personally, I think we should switch this to a monthly get together of all the GTA CEGers/ NECO members. Instead of just hanging out in the car park, then going into Boston Pizza, then going over to Tim's every week, we should plan out some events.

Personally, I like the idea of finding some twisties on a Saturday afternoon, or go kart racing, perhaps some downtown drinking, a little pool perhaps, etc.

(Just thought I'd be the first to voice an opinion).

I think monthly is the way to go. Every week is too much. Also have the meetings ever been held elsewhere. I just hate driving from the west end to sit in a parking lot. We need to organize some activities. I think the Forks of the Credit would be nice once in a while as well the indoor go-karts. Saturdays would be better for me. Sunday is usually a family day.

OK, so we've decided that monthly meets are the way to go, now, we need to pick a time.

Here are your choices:

1) 5pm?
2) 6pm?
3) 7pm?
4) 8pm?

Also, can you please specify if you'd like to meet on the 1st weekend of the month, or the 2nd weekend of the month.

Why not earlier in the day. Like 12:00 or 1:00. Too many problems with having the meets around dinner hours. I know for myself I often have guests over for dinner or I am invited to dinner somewhere. Earlier in the day would be better. Just my .02¢. What is the average age of our group? This would give some insight to the typical lifestyle and ajenda of our members. I think it is safe to say that for those with famalies, Sunday dinner time is not very convenient.

There's a split in the age groups. We have one group from 18-24 and another 25-35 who often have different interests and commitments. So far the consesnus (including the NECO poll) is to change the meets to once per month. Time is still undecided, half like 5:00, half don't.

If enough people are interested our next meet should be on 17th of August, either in Ottawa or in the states. After that, looks like mid-September.

OK, since we've gotten almost NO feedback, i've decided to scrap the idea of organized meets.

When we want a meet, we'll post. We'll have a new thread asking for opinions on date, time, and location.

Well the next meet I'll be at is most likely Ford Fun Weekend. After that, maybe we'll set up something in September.
