Thinking about doing it either Sat June 22 (as long as we get done by 6ish - going to the Docks for my Birthday) or the weekend of the June 29-30th. If someone that has done it before and can help me get it done with relative ease and speed I'd love it.

Also I have a torque wrench, bit I'd need to borrow one that is in inch/lbs, rather than the one I have in ft/lbs.

I'll probably end up doing my WP and maybe changing my fuel filter and tranny fluid as well (if the funds are available). Basically I want to make sure my car survives my track days and is at peak performance.

I agree, it would be a long day. Probably would end up doing the WP and the UIM/LIM first, since I'm mainly concerned about te WP.

What day is good for you? How much did it cost you for the gaskets and which ones did you need?

It really isnt hard to clean them but it does take a long time so dont try to do to much in one day.

Sounds like lots of fun
The 22nd sounds better than the long weekend
I have torque wrenches in both (GF bought me them this week, I am so lucky!)

22nd is probably the best for me as well. As long as we start early, we should be done early...right. The WP may even get done this friday when I put in my speed bleeders. Also if I end up having any vaccum leaks I'll have a week to track it down. We could do it at my place, but I don't have much room. With my mom's and brothers cars I really only have one spot I can commit to wrenching.

So who's in for sure. I am. Just need to know what gaskets and roughly how much they will be.

Given the time frame it took me to do the manifolds swap in my SVT, give yourself a half a day. This would include the time to do the physical cleaning of the manifolds.

Chris, did you swap them your self or did you do it with your brother. I was thinking about removing the LIM as well to do a better job and prevent bits of carbon from falling in, but I'm not sure it that is too involved and what kind of special tools I would need to disconnect the fuel rail.
