...watch out for these beauties, driving the streets of the GTA!

...and there once was a '96 cadillac catera, but it fell victim to head on collision!

Welcome aboard guys, it's always good to have more members around.

I'm sure as Serkan and Agent have already learned, most of the CEG is populated by older posters who are more interested in performance than looks. However, the GTA group is composed of a good number of younger (20-30) members who will be glad to have you around.

Serk, I assume you've heard of Performance Fords and CTA Motorsports which will have a variety of performance oriented modifications for your cars. Unfortunately I don't have many leads on the other cars, but a few lurkers do have similar rides. The Focus will also find parts at the vendors listed above.

If you wish to race your cars, either on road courses or at the dragstrip then the SVTOA members will most likely have some leads for you. They'll pop up now and then, one is "LauraQ" and the other is "Silver Bullet". There will be a fee of course and lessons before taking your cars out. Your insurance will not cover any damage as far as we know, so keep this in mind if interested.

We are also populated heavily by Mercury Cougar owners as they share the chassis and driveline of the Contour. A good number of Focus owners also attend our meets which you are welcome to.

However, (and this is where I put the "Mod" hat on):

- The OPP have taken an interest in our board; please be aware of this. During the meets, do not "show off" as we are guests of the landowner and do not wish to be removed. The police have been known to "cruise" by our meets.

- According to the agreement you all made when joining this board there is to be no discussion of street-racing or related activities. This is the decision of the site owner (Lance Kinley) and I will lock or delete any posts made in reference to such.

- For Sale posted are frowned upon here. We do have a classified adverts area where you can find or sell items. Leaving these open is at my discretion. I will leave items open so long as they are Contour/Cougar related. You may wish to post items here "for your friends". For sale items which are blatantly unrelated will be locked or deleted. I don't want to wade through "Moped for Sale" posts nor do the other members.

- If you feel any of your posts are locked unfairly you may contact myself, Lance, Chris Hightower, or Rara. The same goes for unfair treatment. As a favor, please leave personally insulting posts in PMs and not on the board.

(Mod hat off...)

Hope to see at some meets this summer! We meet every Sunday at the AMC interchange, at the interestion of the 400 and Highway 7. We meet at 5:00 PM each Sunday in front of Boston Pizza. If you arrive late we can usually be found at Boston Pizza. After approximately 2 hours we move down to the Tim Hortons on the west side of the 400 in the Collosus plaza.
