Any body have the detailed schematic for the A6 sidemarker install? I just got a new pair of LED sidemarkers from CTAmotorsports.com .. THANKS CHRIS!! they look awesome...!!

Though I have a few questions I installed them with the diode from my prior A6 side marker install.. and they work fine until the lights are turned on.. when lights are on they are at half dim!! WTF!!! I originally just wanted them too have them blink only.. but now that I see that I can have them go half dim.. I'm thinking of redoing them as the A6 setup : (half dim on on, full bright on signal)

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.. and yes I did a search and the original (detailed) schematic is down..

I used to have the resistor and diode in mine but removed them after I noticed far, far too many Civics with same style on their cars. Just remove the components and leave the sidemarkers alone. They look better when they only illuminate for turning anyway.

Connect one wire to the turn signal. Connect the ground to a bare piece of sheet metal. (My ground was one of the fender attachment screws).

The side markers have 3 wires.. two for turning 1 for ground (the black) I had them all connected but for some reason they didn't work.. I added the diode and they work great.. until the lights are on..

What happens if you put the diode on the other hot wire? (Never tried putting two diodes (yours and the LED - or Light Emitting Diode) in series.)
