i have limited knowledge re mods and was wondering if someone could give me some advice for my 98.5 svt. my front pads need replacing soon and was wondering if installing higher performance pads using my existing stock rotors would cause any problems (eg warping). i assume the rotors would have to be resurfaced too? by not changing front and rear would this cause an imbalance. how do stock rotors and pads compare with aftermarket ones with regards to performance and price? which aftermarket ones are recommended? is it expensive to install braided lines? does changing rear sway bar alone greatly reduce body roll? which product/size works well? is oversteer ever a problem with this mod? do i need someone with experience on contours specifically to install. would a rear strut brace need to be added as well? i've read people have had trouble with incorrect mounting of the brace? i don't plan to race but do enjoy excellent handling. my funds are limited so i wish to make the most cost effective upgrades. thanks in advance for any help.

Have a look at my SVT to get some ideas on what could be done to your vehicle. As far as doing the brakes, honestly, the OEM brake rotors are very poor quality, as far as most have experienced. Suggestion, upgrade the rotors along with the pads at the same time.
