My niece is 15 and is already taking driver's ed. I still can't believe it!

I turned 16, twenty-five years ago, in a galaxy far far away. (learned clutch then too).

I enjoy going to meets and hearing the younger CEG's talk about their cars. Learn something new each one.

2000 SE fleet, V6, ATX, ABS, no spoiler, T-Green/tan. Built 01/2000 in MO.
Added 12 spoke factory SE rims, K&N. Biggest mod: ESP Plan!

Gosh, what a surprise (reading this thread) !
I figured most of the CEG'ers here would be senior citizens! A lot of 18 year olds here, wow! Most Contour owners in my town are retired (they buy them because senior citizens are wise, and can tell a great car when they see one)
I'm a 29 year old desperately trying to preserve my youth (so I've always tryed to mod my car in ways, to prevent me from looking 65 while behind wheel)

I'm 18 and I figure my life is 1/4 the way over. And I bet in a 100 years, no one will remember any of us. Kind of depressing if you think about it. Oh well, I've seen a lot a great movies in my 18 years and I have a lot of great CD's to listen to.

Yeah, but how many senior citizens use computers? My grandparents are scared of them!

The oldest Contour/Mystique owner? I hope its not me, but to give you young bucks a clue, I learned to drive in a Ford with a flathead V-8 (highway patrol version, 100 HP!!) and also had to learn how to double-clutch! Not to mention starting the engine using a manual choke! Obviously, no power steering, no power brakes, no radio, no turn signals.
