I have been debating putting on the summer tires for the last few weeks. This may be the weekend. (I hope)

I think I'll send my rim out for repair now, just to hold myself off from getting stuck in a snowstorm with Comp T/A's.
I was caught in a snow storm in Waterloo last December with BFG VR4's on...couldn't make it up this 5% grade, had to reverse and double back.

Wait a little bit longer....Two years ago I rushed it a little..snowed the next weeekend...introduced the svt to the sidewalk and then to a new wheel bearing and alignment.

Oh yeah, ran a stop sign going up a steep hill because I couldn't stop....If a managed to stop...I would have to reverse down the hill again.

Haha, reminds me of driving my cousin's car with a slipping clutch through San Francisco. You'd have to keep speed until cresting a hill before hitting the brakes...on lookers didn't really appreciate that.

I have been hurting all winter driving a 1991 Escort Gt while the SVT was hibernating. I think I will activate the insurance on the SVT this weekend and let the beast roar. I just can't take it anymore!!!! My wife has noticed how cranky I have been lately due to lack-of-horsepower-itis. So I think I will do our marriage a favour & take out the beast.

Cheers!!! laugh
