Thank you My SE has all of the current Energy bushings and motor mount inserts available, except for two of the four that are used in the trailing arms. The only draw back is in cold weather, urethane is hard as a rock and may squeak if not greased regularly. The SVT is getting there, just have to do the front sway bar bushings, once the front bar is upgraded.

Chris is right, The front a-arms are poorly designed and the bushing manufacturers are having a problem coming up with a quality replacment for these arms. Only way to replace any worn bushings is to replace the whole arm unfortunately. Originally posted by cawong11:

Local Ford dealer quoted me $750 to replace front lower control arms. Tried to blame spring guard knock on them. Although, they are probably worn out.

Alessandro, are you considering making replacement bushings for the A-arms, especially the first generation vehicles? I'd be first on the list to pick some up

That first generation A-arm is more solid and does cost quite a bit more to replace than the later ones. Laters ones are about $130CDN for parts and almost double for the first generation. Making bushings for these is not easy! Don't know if we will ever have them. Darn ford crappy design! Originally posted by cawong11:
