I had the cruise set at 110KPH all the way i also had a few W.O.T. passes on the 2 lane. I thought that was preety good ,i have tinted the windows all around at 20% and put some mud flaps on all 4 corner ,i got them from wal-mart they fit realy good. more things to do to the tour as the budget will alow . What goes on at those meets at 7 and the 400 amc parking lot??? cya Jeff

Hey there, Sounds like you are getting the right mileage. The V6 likes to run right around the 3000rpm mark. I have gotten as high as 38mpg on the highway.
As for the meets, we just gather round and talk cars for a bit. Exchange info and then once we are all there we go out for dinner or just for coffee. I think I am going to see if we can set up a meet to go see the movie "Driven" We will be there this Sunday Rain or Shine.

Wow, I don't know if it's my car or the way I drive (I tend to shift @ 2500-3000 btw) but I've never seen mileage that high. Average 21 mpg mixed, 25 highway...best was 28 doing 120 km/h. Maybe I'll try 110 next time.

I USED to get mileage like that, but since I now have a whopping 240,000km on Connie, it's a little lower. My last tankful got me 610km, and I filled up with 50L. That's about 28mpg or so. I was cruising at 130km/h most of the way though. When you've got a 500km trip ahead of you, 110 just won't cut it. That's adding another 45 min. to the trip. Of course, I've got a manual too, and at 130km/h I'm spinning at 3500rpm.

I calculate both, but it's more difficult for me to understand differences in L/100 km...I grew up in a border city, so same deal with temperature, more use to Farenheit.

Ar 110 MPH my Rpm is 2500 i have an auto 4 speed . Hey yellowx if u went 610 KM on 50 l thats 34.3 MPG preety good for that speed u where going , I dont speed too much with the kids in the car and i was in a 90 KPH hyw. so at 110 the coppers dont bother u ,so far so good. Airknight i dont like the metric system for the milage thing. MPG is a universal way we all know how to figure out. U have to keep your speed constant no fast stars on the hyw. if u want to get better milage have fun cul Jeff Hope to c u all at a meet this summer

That's one of the things I'd like to see the US change! Get rid of that damn English system and use metric system!!! What can be standard measurement when it's used only in the US and UK???
