Hello fellow contour owners!! :rolleyes: I have a thump noise from the back sus. when i hit a bump . I think its the sway bar rubber bushings any help would b great . Also i need higher output lower driving lights + low beam high beam is ok can any1 tell me where i can buy some in canada i know bat as them in the USA. thanks Jeff 
20% lumar tint all around, 80 w mega whites bulbs for the low beam thats all for now!!

the noise is probably the sway bar bushing or the end links...get under the car and check the bushings to see if they are cracked...
Do not know about the lighting...

Usually the cable housing is tie wrapped to the trailing arms. The tie wrap will break over time and the cables become loose. As the suspension moves up and down, the trailing arms and the brake cables hit. Just a thought as this what happened to my SE. BTW, what wattage lights are you looking for? I can get Xenon, Plasma and Hyperwhites from Ractive (Toucan Industries) Email me privately if you require more information.

I'm gonna agree with chris on this one, I had the exact same problem, it was just the ebrake cable hitting the rear control arm. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable about our cars, has more info than anyone I know of around here.

Jeff, The end links are what your sway bar attaches to...I have some pics if you want to see what it might look like. Anyway, you really need to get under the car to see what is wrong. I know my SVT has a rear thunk when I drive off and it is the e-brake cable. On the other hand, my 96 Contour makes funny noised too and I looked and found it is the bushings with no e-brake problems...I figured the year of you car it might be the same thing.
