I was working on my dad's "1999" SE today. I saw that it does not have a returnless system (it is a duratech). I thought that in mid year '98 the V6 went to a returnless system. I checked the vin number and it says the car is a '99. My family just picked up the car...do you think the dealer pulled something shady here? Is there anything else I should look for???

I'm pretty sure that returnless did not start until mid 99. All 98's, early and late, were return type.
