So my Tour was in the shop getting a taillight replaced (the seal gave out and water got in it...very messy) anyway, the dealership rented me a 2002 Taurus SE. The car had 89 mi on it when I got it. Beautiful car, but a few annoying quirks. I decided to do a 0-60 test in it to see how fast the 3.0 was. The blue oval Courtesy Car did a 0-60 in 10.71 seconds. Modest for a 2 ton 3.0l. So then I got the contour back and thought to myself "I wonder what this thing will do 0-60?" Swear to god, my zetec ran a consistent 11.65 seconds!!! The little four banger sleeper car ran a 0-60 in a little less than a second longer than fords best seller. God I love this thing.
second. At mcdonalds the other day I saw a maroon 2002 eclipse hardtop with a 5 foot nothing cutie pie behing the wheel. With God as my witness, the license plate read TIMBRLAKE what's wrong with this country?
