I'm going to try at least. If anyone knows someone who's looking for a Contour, or something of the sort, here's the specs:

Electric Red, 15" 7-spoke SE alloy wheels, new Potenza RE930 tires, KKM, Dynomax, new Taylor wires, new Bosch Platinum +4 plugs. 203,000 highway km's (long distance g/f...). Asking $6000 OBO. Excellent condition!!! Come see it in Mississauga/GTA.

I haven't quite decided what I'm going to buy yet, but it's time for something new. Maybe a Volvo S40....

I tried selling mine for about a month.

I was asking $9000 in the autotrader (1998 v6- mtx gl, 75000kms) not a single phone call.

Maybe I was asking too much? I decided to keep since I found a car I could afford for the better half.

If I was looking for a tour, I'd say you price is okay, I guess. What year is it?

BTW, for those who don't know, it's a 95, and used to be the quickest 1/4mile Contour in the GTA. I haven't kept up with everyone elses infinite mods, so I don't know if I could defend the title...

Sorry to hear it

Keep in mind that winning at the 1/4 mile is not all car. With any cars that are even close in power, modded or not, it all comes down to who leaves the line first and hits the shifts just right.
I was witness to this when I went to a drag strip and two people drove the exact same car. One driver posted a full .7 sec quicker
All driver!

Whatever. That day, no one came close, and everyone got a few runs.

I'm just trying to sell the car, not debate 1/4 mile times. If you want to buy the car fine, if not, go away.

Sorry if you misunderstood my reply, was actually defending you. You may still own the fastest car. That aside.....

Good luck selling the car. I'll see if I know anyone who is interested.

Will probably see you at a future meet.
