There are a couple of track days in August in St. Could at the Minnesota Highway Saftey Center with the Quattro Club. You don't have to be a member of the club to attend. I went to the one in May at BIR and it was a blast! I'm going to go to this one and the one at Road America in Sept. See here for more info and registration: http://www.glacierlakesqclub.org/StCloudSchool.htm or pm me.

So the cost for us is 160? That's a bit pricey for my pocket book. If there's anyway to get it cheaper, I'd definetely try to go. (Not with my tour though, gotta talk my wife into letting me take the protege wink )

Looks like I won't be going after all mad . My clutch is just starting to slip. The track would be the end of it. I'm going to try to hold off on putting my UR clutch in until I get my engine swapped in Sept.

160 is kind of expensive, but what do you get to do? Laps, slalom, 1/4 mile, jumps?!?

The event is two days. They will sort you in to groups: Beginner, Advanced and Instructor. The first day you start in the classroom for about an hour. Lots of great info by very knowledgeable instructors. After that you'll get on the track and do driving exercises. These will probably consist of braking, slalom and lane toss. Then you head out on the track with your instructor. The second day will probably be all track sessions which last about 30 min each. You can also go for rides when the instructor group is on the track. This is worth $80 per day by itself. I've ridden in some amazing cars with awesome drivers.

$80 per day is a great deal. 8 min at Thunder Alley is $14.50. I would Highly recomend going. Everyone is very friendly.

Unfortunately it's a just too spendy for me I gotta do a whole load of stuff to my car, brakes, rotors, tires, plugs, and maybe even a new battery before the fall and 80-160 is just too spendy for the old budget. Anyway MJCT, bumber about your clutch did you get your suspension clunk figured out?
