I have a 97 Tour and am looking for a new gauge cluster w/ a tach. Anyone know of where a parts car is or of the sort. Any help would be awesome. What was Ford thinking, 5 Speed w/o tach? I dont need it but I want my dash to have the even look and I want to get Indiglos. Thought of external tachs but I dont want holes in my dash. Thanks again.

I think I seen one at a junk yard in Blaine, MN. At John's Auto Parts. I was just there 2 weeks ago. I can take a peek next time I am there if you like? Either that or call Ford and ask how much they want for one. :rolleyes:

You could also check Click on the magnifying glass , it will guide you through to what you need and show you who has it.

Well, when I was having trouble with my ac working, my friend who was recharging it thought it may be a relay, and by that time Ford was closed of course, but John's was not. I just happened to be up in Spring Lake Park. Soo, to John's I went. I looked all the Contours up and down of course to see what parts they had, that people here may need.

she is right, i went there today, and they had two 4 cyl gauge cluster both with tachs. on had 36XXX and another had 74XXX miles. www.johnsauto.com good luck

Thank you guys for responding. I found the part at an awesome price, all thanks to you! If you guys are ever around the Detroit Lakes area look for a greenish tour with white rims rolling around. We'll show off our babies to all the rice heads around here. If a black civic with white rims and a wing the size of California ever tries to race you up here, do it! All of his car is show no guts. Thanks again!

Thanks again! Once I get my baby running again, I might have to take a trip. The tour goes into the body shop tomorrow and then a shop will send a tech out to it when it getting fixed.
