Well, finally I have just received the mirror I had purchased from another CEG member after one month. It sure took forever. He had to paint the passenger side (it was silver) to match my tan car. It looks great. It only costed $50. Cheaper then Ford and other placed I have looked. And it even matches!
Although, he said he could also send me the single cupholder (one of the double cup holders is broken) for what I paid, he was just getting rid of parts. But, there wasn't a cupholder in the box. I will call later and ask him if he still has it and wants to get rid of it, no big deal really there. I still have one cupholder, for me. I found it pointless to replace 1 cupholder, to replace it with a single one anyway. I probably will in the future after I fix the ac and my headlights.
I found this guy in the Classifieds in this website! I am sure glad there is this website!

I was able to put the mirror on during my lunch and the paint job is great, but the black triangle part looks like it has salt or something that faded the back and it made it look like blochy patches. Does anyone know how I can renew the black color on the side? I tried Armor All and different cleaners. Nothing has worked yet. Back to the drawing board.

It's nice to have a whole mirror now! laugh

Have you just used water and soap yet? I know that if there is too much polish, armor-all, etc on it, it will spot up like that. The only way I have been able to get rid the spots is to wash the whole surface with soap and water. If that doesnt work, tell me and I'll see what i can find.

I tried soap and water, still no progress. So I tried some rubbing compound, and then washed it with soap and water. Then used some armor all. Now it looks better then the driver side. Well, it looks a little shiny. I am not sure I like the shiny, but it looks alot better then it did before I started. I'll give it a couple of days and see how it looks. I think it will be fine. smile
