Does anyone know the cheapest way to figure out why my check engine light keeps coming on? (On my 1995 Ford Contour) I once brang it to a shop in Hudson and they said my car would not finsih the test. The check engine light comes on occasionally, but the car does not run any differently. My guess is it is some sensor. It isn't a big concern, so, to finally know what the problem is would be to have it analyzed. Any ideas? smile Great weather we have outside!!

Sherry, You prolly have an 02 sensor going bad. Check with precision tune to see how much to put it on the analyzer. Intermitent probs are the toughest to track down. It might be worth the expense if it saves you from a bigger(expensive) prob later. Good luck!!

1995's have a way of reading the problem based on how many times something flashes.

Forgive me for being horribly vague, I know there's more on it somewhere here, but OBD-1 cars (1995's) have a workaround for the readers.
